Preventative protection for your roof matters

Neglecting your roof can be very expensive.

Roof MAINTENANCE service plans

Plans for Residential or Commercial Buildings

Everyday exposure to sun, rain, wind, and other elements slowly age the roof membrane. Every extra year of harsh weather impacts your roof and its ability to protect your property. An unmaintained roof will not last forever.

All roofs need regular checkups – just like a car oil change. It is important to schedule seasonal roof inspections at least twice per year - once in the spring and once in the fall.

By paying attention and providing the proper inspections, repair and maintenance, a roof will last longer.

Regular roof inspections keeps your roof healthy

  • Inspect for missing, damaged, or curling shingles and other signs of wear and tear.
  • Signs of algae or fungus starting to grow
  • Rust in metal areas of the roof
  • Flashings are checked
  • Cracked mortar or caulking around joints and chimneys
  • Condition of plumbing stack flashings

early signs of a failing roof

Residential or Commercial Building

To avoid costly building damage, identify the early signs of a failing roof.

  • Water stains on the ceiling or mold on the walls, may be apparent even from inside the building.
  • Cracking seams or cuts in the roof cover, which can open a path for moisture to seep in below the roof cover.
  • Roofing deterioration due to age and exposure to the elements, clogged gutters, damaged flashing, broken tiles or shingles, or loose fasteners can cause minor leaks at any time or after a storm.

IMPORTANT notice to ALL PROPERTY OWNERS

Effective September 1, 2019 Covering Deductibles is ILLEGAL

If anyone suggests that you "make money" or "not pay your full deductible" on the roof installation and/or property claim with a contract price of $1,000.00 or greater, this is  INSURANCE FRAUD, and you and the contractor could face jail time and fines.  "Waiving Deductibles", "Absorbing Deductibles", "Discounting Deductibles", "Rebates", "Credits", "Offsets", "Sign Allowances" or any form of avoiding monetary payment of the required insurance deductible.  IT'S AGAINST THE LAW!

Texas Insurance Code § 707.002

"Texas Law requires a person insured under a property insurance policy to pay any deductible applicable to a claim made under the policy.  It is a violation of Texas law for a person or business paid wholly or partly from proceeds of a property insurance claim to knowingly allow the policyholder to fail to pay, or assist the policyholder's failure to pay, the applicable insurance deductible."

The new statute gives insurance companies and the State two ways to enforce these requirements.

FIRST - Insurance companies may now "refuse to pay a claim for replacement cost value" until the insured provides proof of payment of the deductible (Texas Insurance Code 707.005)

SECOND - It will be a Class A misdemeanor to violate the statute; both the service provider and the insured are subject to violations. (Texas Insurance Code 707.006)
